ReservoirIQ verifies field facts against the regulator's own figures, derives water cut, fits decline curves, screens and compares fields, matches plays, and maps wells and seismic coverage. Fourteen tools on one source of truth, and it replaces the hours you spend assembling them by hand.
Sodir publishes detailed factsheets, wellbore registers and seismic listings for the Norwegian shelf. Answering a simple question still means several pages, hand cross-referencing and your own arithmetic. That is tedious for one field and easy to get wrong for the twentieth.
Everything traces back to the regulator's published figures. Anything ReservoirIQ works out itself, using standard petroleum engineering derivations, is labelled as calculated.
The core: facts checked, trends derived, forecasts fitted.
Operator, status, discovery year and recoverable reserves, checked directly against Sodir's data.
Derived from production history, so you see how a field's water handling has changed without rebuilding the curve.
A fast first-pass fit that gives remaining recoverable volume and a production forecast.
Discovery, development, first production and the milestones between, in one readable view.
See where things are, and what is connected to what.
Fields, facilities, pipelines and sea areas over streets, satellite, bathymetry, topography and bedrock geology, with live latitude and longitude. Pick a field to see the facilities and pipelines connected to it.
Which wellbores have logs, cores and core photos, and which seismic surveys exist, with links to Sodir. Maps show which surveys cover a field and which fields lie under a survey.
Compare fields across an area, grouped by area, reservoir period or environment.
From one field to the whole shelf.
Compare many fields at once, with filters for wells by purpose, fluid and status, and timing columns such as years to first production.
Find fields that resemble an existing field or your own prospect, with a chart you can adjust and an optional printable report.
Which of Sodir's plays a field sits in, what Sodir says about each play, and a check of whether the field's reservoir environment agrees with it.
The reservoir units of each field, with their age and depositional environment.
Formation tops and ages, laid out so you can read them.
The formations each wellbore of a field penetrated, side by side, from Sodir's formation-top table. Anything calculated is labelled.
Cross-sections of formation tops through chosen wells, shown alongside a map of where those wells are.
A quick reference for the age of a unit.
Sodir has thousands of wellbores and seismic surveys. ReservoirIQ never dumps them all on one screen: you choose what to look at, and it stays fast.
Ask in either direction, for one field or several at once. ReservoirIQ tests the outlines against each other and lists every match, with how each survey overlaps: wholly inside the field, covering it, or partly overlapping.
Sodir's own yes/no flags for logs, cores, core photos and more, filtered by field, area, purpose, content, operator and year. Every row links straight to its Sodir Factpage.
Place your field or your own prospect among the fields that resemble it, with a chart you can adjust and a report you can print. Then take formation tops through chosen wells and see them as a fence plot, with the wells located on a map.
ReservoirIQ is built on the Norwegian Offshore Directorate's open data. It is only useful if you can trust where each number came from.
Every value comes from Sodir. Anything ReservoirIQ calculates itself is labelled as calculated, never passed off as published.
Where Sodir publishes labels in Norwegian, such as survey status and area, ReservoirIQ shows them in English and keeps anything it cannot translate exactly as published.
Data from the Norwegian Offshore Directorate is used under NLOD 2.0, with attribution.
A note on depositional environment. Sodir's formations and plays are shown as Sodir publishes them. ReservoirIQ's depositional environment is separate: it means the key depositional environment of the main reservoir for the field's main hydrocarbon fluid. It is still under review and is released with that caveat, so treat it as provisional until the review is complete.
The demo gives you one field, Gullfaks, and four of the fourteen functions, so you can see exactly how they work and judge the output yourself.
Simple on the surface. It is not a reservoir simulator and does not try to be. It is the layer underneath one.
Screening, analogues and due-diligence work without re-deriving the same figures each time.
Formation tops, plays, reservoir units and what data exists on a well, in one place.
Quick answers on fields you do not work with every day.
One consistent way to get oriented on a field across many clients.
Source-transparent figures that suit coursework, theses and published research.
